TOWN OF LLOYD — A controversial proposal to build a bulk pet crematorium just 200 feet from Highland Elementary School remains in limbo after the Town of Lloyd Zoning Board of Appeals declined to vote on the project’s zoning classification.

The failure to bring the issue to a vote on the 1,500 square-foot facility means it lands in the lap of the town board. “The zoning board failed to do the job they were given,” said Cathy Rought Jacobson, a parent and frequent critic of the project. Continue to read online or in a PDF.
